“This was my first Breathwork experience.”
This was my first breathwork experience, and I went in with some scepticism - my normal approach to anything new. Karen briefed us thoroughly on what we might experience and to my absolute surprise it all started happening for me – including a definite tingling in my head fairly early into the session, and in my hands and feet as the session progressed. It was a wild ride in some respects, but I felt safe and supported, Karen’s voice is one of the best in the business and for that alone you should do a Breathwork session with her.
As suggested I went in with an issue that had been on my mind for a while and received some clarity in a way I had not expected. I felt an overall euphoria at the end – similar to a yoga buzz, which stayed with me for a while. I felt different - calmer. My advice would be that it’s good but not essential to have an issue on your mind – you can go in and just enjoy the experience – it’s a buzz and I’m amazed that just breathing can make you feel so good. Looking forward to the next session – one of the best things you can do lying on your back 😊

“I had a Breathwork with Karen.”
I had a breath work with Karen in a group setting. I have never done a breath workshop before so wasn’t sure what to expect.
Karen explained what the process was and walked us through the various breathing techniques. I was very comfortable in the environment Karen had ready for us when we arrived at the location.
My experience was amazing. I felt a lot of sensations and had a few life changing realisations. These are quite personal so I will not go into them but I was amazed how my body and mind felt after the experience and will definitely look forward to another session in the future.

“I am so happy I took the opportunity."
I am so happy I took the opportunity to have a 1:1 and group breathwork session with Karen. I have had previous experience with breathwork in groups, but I didn’t really get much out of them, so was impartial to breathwork as a healing modality for me.
However, through Karen’s breathwork guidance and touch, she was able to help me release tension in my jaw, forehead, temples and crown; and help open me up in pelvis, chest area and lower back. I could also feel my throat chakra starting to open and release what was stuck, but it was still stuck at the top of my throat but cleared with a slight cough.
I happened to start a 30 day 5min breathwork challenge the day after my 1:1 and have been using the breathing techniques I learnt in the 1:1 session, which was incredibly timely and helpful! I’ve been getting great sleep doing the 4-7-8 method before sleep.
I also had a reiki session four days after the 1:1 breathwork session with Karen, and the breathwork session worked in tandem with what I was able to release energetically through the reiki session. I actually used a couple of different breathing methods that I learnt from Karen to help me move through and release what was stored in my body energetically.
Having the group session a week after the 1:1 session has been incredibly helpful, as I made further progress with releasing. My throat chakra opened up heaps more, I was able to release stuck emotions I didn’t even know were there and release some stiffness in my neck.
I really appreciate Karen holding a safe and nurturing space for our breathwork journey and her invitation and encouragement to breathe and let go no matter how it may look and sound.
I am so grateful and appreciative to have had the wonderful opportunity to receive breathwork guidance and assistance from Karen.

As with your yoga sessions, I found the breathwork last week a very safe and quiet space to relax in. You have a very calming voice and allowed plenty of time for us to share our thoughts before and after the session. The process was explained so there were no surprises and I appreciate that you asked if we were comfortable with you touching us at points during the breathwork. The process was very intense but I would be open to more sessions with you as it's a very safe place to reflect on my thoughts. Thank you.

To begin with i must admit i was a little nervous. The invitation said it would run for 2.5 hours. And I know in myself that 1.5 hours of anything is kind of limit. But was ready to commit fully.
You made me feel at ease, very comfortable and safe from the very beginning. Your music selection was bang on… and your verbal queues seemed to come at just the right moment.
The use of the eye masks was absolutely perfect as I found this practice to be quite intense as I released more emotion than I knew was there. And having the masks seemed to make the practice more private and safe even though we were in a group session.
I believe that the release of these emotions seems to have helped me handle a few encounters in my conscious life a little better since. - with calm and clarity… and boundaries.
I would be keen to bring this practice in to my regular wellbeing practice.
For me I am thinking once a month.. as it was quite intense…. In addition to allowing myself time to feel, experience and reflect on the effects of the class.
The session including the intro and reflection time ended up going for 1.5 hours… which I found to be absolutely perfect for me!!

I’ve recently done 2 breathwork classes and today a zoom class with Karen.
I had an incredible experience with these breathwork classes. Karen’s guidance was both calming and empowering, creating a safe space for deep relaxation and transformation.Her voice is very soothing and she shows a lot of experience in this area. The playlist she put together is absolutely perfect.
Each session helped me release tension, gain clarity, and connect with my breath in a whole new way. I left feeling lighter, more centered, and full of energy.
I also recognised that I am a SURVIVOR and today this class made me feel so proud of the journey I have been on with a very positive outcome! Im loving learning how to breath in a more productive beneficial way.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for profound inner healing and mindfulness to join one of Karen’s classes.
